Snout spasm

 

Definition: Wrinkled nose with lips in a position that looks like the snout of an animal (Hamilton 1976).

 

Exploration: The presence of snout spasm can be established by observing the patient with or without interacting with him/her.

 

Synonym: Snout crampt
