Delusions of reference

 

Definition: Groundless convictions, which cannot be corrected by evidence to the contrary, that environmental events or objects have a special significance with reference to the patient (Petho and Ban 1989).

 

ExplorationThe presence of delusions of reference can be established by interviewing the patient.
