Flight of ideas
Carlos Morra and Ernst Franzek: Psychopathological Symptoms

Definition: Increased speed in the flow of ideas with a looseness of internal connections and goal directedness (Petho and Ban 1989).

Exploration: The presence of flight of ideas can be established by interviewing the patient.
